A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Biography

Julia Newman is a freelance technical writer with a passion for telling stories and preserving the environment. Graduating from Juniata College in December 2020 with a degree in Professional Writing, Julia aims to use her skills to be a bridge of communication between people of differing knowledge, cultural, and social backgrounds. 

In November 2018, she co-founded the Gambian Art Coalition - 501(c)3 Public Charity and non-governmental organization (NGO) with the goal of promoting sustainable development in The Gambia, West Africa through partnering with local artists and investing in their communities. She is currently the Director of Communications and Marketing.

When she’s not writing, editing, or designing, you can find her bingeing true crime television shows, reading cringe-worthy romance novels, or enjoying the great outdoors with her family.
